RebelSites turns a short description of your business into a complete, ready-to-publish website in about a minute. This guide walks you through the entire flow from your first prompt to a live URL, and points out what to pay attention to along the way.
The home screen is one large text box. The single most important thing you can do for a great first draft is to fill that box with a clear, specific description of your business. The AI uses what you write to make decisions about copy, layout, color palette, photography style, and which pages your site needs, so the more it knows, the better the result.
A strong starting prompt usually mentions the type of business, the city or area you serve, the services you offer, and one or two things that set you apart, like how long you've been in business or a specific certification you hold. If you want your phone number, address, or hours to appear on the site, include them too. You don't need to write a brief or a creative directive. Two to four sentences of natural English is plenty.
If you already have a website, click Have an existing site? below the prompt box and paste the URL. RebelSites will analyze your current site's brand colors, fonts, and content so the new build matches your existing look. This is the fastest way to keep continuity with branding your customers already recognize.
Once you click Build, the AI begins generating your site in real time. The first thing it does is sketch a blueprint, deciding on a name, a brand direction, color choices, and which pages to include. From there it builds page by page, streaming each file into the live preview pane on the right. Most sites finish in well under a minute.
While the build runs you will see a progress timeline showing which phase the AI is in. There is no need to wait silently. You can watch the preview update in place, and once the dev server is up, you will have a fully styled, working site you can click around. If you want a deeper look at what each phase does and why, see the article called How RebelSites builds your site.
The first build is rarely the final build, and that is the point. Once your site is live in the preview, the chat panel becomes your editor. Describe what you want changed in plain English. RebelSites identifies the exact files involved and makes a surgical edit, leaving the rest of the site alone, so iteration is fast and safe.
Edit requests can be small, like changing the brand color to a deep forest green, or substantial, like adding a testimonials section under the services and pulling in three example quotes. You can also ask for entirely new pages, restructure the navigation, or rewrite copy in a different tone. If you would rather discuss an idea before changing anything, switch the chat into Plan mode using the toggle near the input. In Plan mode the AI talks through your idea without touching the site, which is useful when you want to think out loud or weigh a few directions before committing.
When you are happy with the result, click Publish in the top toolbar. RebelSites builds a static version of your site and deploys it to a permanent URL on the rebelsites.ai subdomain. You can share that link with anyone right away, and re-publishing after future edits takes a single click.
Publishing requires a paid plan. Free accounts can build, preview, and iterate as much as they want within the included generation limit, but the public URL goes live only once you upgrade. The first published site is included in the base plan, and additional sites are added at a lower per-site price. See the pricing page on rebelsites.ai for current details.
If you own a domain like yourbusiness.com, you can point it at your published site from the Domains section in the project toolbar. The flow uses a one-click integration that writes the necessary DNS records at your registrar with a single sign-in. Both the apex domain and the www subdomain are set up automatically, and HTTPS is provisioned for you. There is a separate article in this collection that walks through the full process and what to do if your registrar is not supported.
If you are not sure what to ask the AI for next, browse the Working with the AI section of this help center. Those articles cover how to write prompts that get strong results, how to iterate well, and what to do when the AI produces something unexpected. Your Dashboard, accessible from the account menu, lists every site you have built and lets you jump back into any of them at any time.
If something is not working or you have a question we have not answered, click the chat bubble in the bottom-right of any RebelSites page and our team will get back to you.
