RebelSites has two plans. The Free plan lets you build, preview, and iterate. The Published plan lets you put your site on the public internet, on a custom domain if you have one, and removes the cap on AI generations.
Free is for building, comparing directions, and deciding whether RebelSites is right for you before paying anything. You get 18 AI generations to spend on initial builds and edits, a live preview you can share by screenshot, mobile-responsive output, SEO meta tags, and version history. Nothing on Free is time-limited; it is gated by your remaining generations.
What Free does not include is publishing. Your site exists only inside RebelSites until you upgrade, so visitors cannot reach it on a public URL and you cannot connect a custom domain.
Published is $49 per month for your first published site, with each additional published site adding $29 per month to the same subscription. It includes unlimited AI generations, a permanent public URL on the rebelsites.ai subdomain, custom domain support with automatic HTTPS, priority generation, an analytics dashboard, and priority support.
Most customers upgrade right when they are ready to share the link. There is no requirement to upgrade earlier; iterating on Free until you are happy with the design is exactly the intended flow.
Three things flip the moment your subscription becomes active. The Publish button starts working and gives you a live URL within seconds. Generation limits go away, so you can keep editing as long as you like. And the Domains section in your project becomes available so you can connect any domain you own.
Anything you built or edited on Free is preserved exactly as it was. Upgrading does not require you to start over, and the site you have been refining is the same site that publishes.
If you are still trying RebelSites out, stay on Free. If you are running multiple separate businesses, you can publish each as its own site under one Published subscription, with the per-site charge applied per published site. If you are planning to build something and only show it privately to a small group, you still need the Published plan to generate a shareable link.
